Natalie Dwulet is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, and Nick Foy and Alex Rand were also awarded honorable mention!
All six of Occidental’s awardees this year were chemistry or biochemistry majors!

Science Scholars
Molly Brown ’18 is one of this year’s Fletcher Jones Science Scholars at Occidental! This prestigious award will support Molly’s research to develop new carbon-carbon bond forming reactions in our lab for the next year, and allow her to present her discoveries at a national conference of her choice. Congrats!

ACS-PRF Grant Funded!
Our grant application to study enantioselective titanium catalysts for reductive reactions of ketones was funded by the American Chemical Society Petroleum research fund! This grant will help fund more summer researchers to study new methods for carbon-carbon bond formation!
